  Are Bethelites more likely to leave the JWs than others?

  have you any experience of families whose sons have gone off to bethel and then decided to not have any more contact with their family and jws at all very soon after returning?.

  i ask this question because i know of two families where this has been the case.. the first family had three sons who one after the other went to the london bether to 'serve' within a couple of years of eachother.. after three years there all three returned home completely different people.

  they then left home, left dub land, two married non jws and another lives with his girlfriend.

  no college means no quality in education. expressis verbis: nobody should learn how to question doctrine or with the voice of a nurse: come on babe, eat the oatsmeal.

  I remember some years ago a DC where on the platform only had be young people with maturity. That was brought to light permanently and I think it should give a signe to authorities that JWs are "very normal" citizens.

  When they start now a "no college" strategy again it seems that they have reached any political targets and they now can go on in their opportune strategies.

  It is really a chameleon believe JWs have, changing the coulor to the environment, the flag to the wind.

  But they must pay atttention when they leave a big fart that the wind does not change.

  this Austrian fella deserves to take a boat ride on the Danube. that he is an ivory tower chief seems to be an happening like another Austrian became chief of the UN in the 70ies Mr. Waldheim.

  The Austrians are more German than the Germans - reasoned by their singing dialect especially those from Vienna.

  Gerrit would have better done to stay in Austria and eat a Salzburg Nockerl than a burger and french fries in NY.

  He is to old for reforming the GB and to young to have heavenly hope when you take the date 1935 as measure.

  Gerrit, leave the US and go back to Austria, enjoy life there. The ivory tower will fall, thats why you should leave it.

  But the question is: who are the REAL apostates and who are the nowadays scribes?

  And it must be said that an org that does not allow to question doctrines public in dialogue with others must be compared with an absolute acting org, htat does not take example by the Beroeans.

  We cant encourage others to prove their religion while we are not allowed to do it.

  So I cant make any utterance in who will go to gehenna.

  But I can say to the ivory tower: keep your senses alive and repent to have taken seat on a chair which is to large for you.

  thanks Leo for that article. I appreciate your time and perfomrance you spent to give us information. also thanks to narcissos who does support us in many ways.

  For us researchers of the bible is it a help to come to the roots of reality so that we can discern between Marketing ( the way the Judge separated his disciples from other bible students) and really stuff that has hands and feet.

  Here I have some works for German researchers about the crucification adn I am now absolute convinced that jesus was nailed to the patibulum which was fixed on an stake.

  So he had not to carry a very heavy cross what would be impossible after the tortures in Pilates palace becaue of his weight of about 200 kgs.

  perhaps you could define Sacharja 7:1,5 - I guess in English Zecharaja the prophet. - in all its circumstances. So we would have great reasons aginst 607.

  it is well reported: already Pilate asked: What is Truth?

  He knew very well: truth is the instrument of the ruling class - whatever they name truth is it. If Caesar would have decided truth Pilate would have died.

  and truth would be: if the German Reich would have won the WW2 war, then those who took the remnant bosses to court would have been taken there instead and hanging in Nuremberg.

  so truth is relative in case of human decisions. And those in the ivory tower today sell you truth that having a high education is worth nothing and tomorrow they encoruage you to study. With only one differenece: tomorrow is nearer to the end.

  so truth is made to changing law by forces who demand on that.

  i just love the logic that was applied in last week's wt study, paragraph 3:only a god of infinite wisdom could be responsible for the miraculous formation of a new living human.

  for thousands of years, reasoning people have credited the formation of a child inside its mother's womb to the grand creator.
